Lighting: Fluorescent and LED Bulbs

Most people know that fluorescent bulbs can last up to ten times longer, but may not realize they also use 70 to 80% less electricity than incandescent bulbs. In addition, fluorescent bulbs are a much cooler temperature, further reducing air conditioning bills.
